For several years, Illinois State University has offered two similar products: Webmail and Webmail2. On July 15th, 2009, Webmail2 will be discontinued, but Webmail will continue to be available for years to come. You can keep using Webmail2 until July 15th, but we encourage you to make the switch to the new Webmail.

Microsoft released Internet Explorer 8 on March 19, 2009. This new version of Internet Explorer replaces your IE6 or IE7 on your computer. Available for Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003, IE8 is touted by Microsoft as being faster, easier, and safer than previous versions of Internet Explorer. Most Blackboard problems can be resolved by installing the latest version of Java, clearing your browser cache, and making sure you accept all Java security certificates.
