Sign up for Emergency Alerts

Sign up for the Emergency Alerts notification system through iCampus. You will receive email, text, and voice notifications when a crisis situation happens that threatens the health or safety of those on campus. Read the Help Desk knowledge base article to learn more.

Webmail2 end of life, July 15

For several years, Illinois State University has offered two similar products: Webmail and Webmail2. As of July 15th, 2009, Webmail2 has been discontinued. To use Webmail, visit http://webmail.ilstu.edu.

New Campus Map

Check out the new campus map website! Utilizing Google Maps technology, the new Illinois State map is easy to use and has tons of great information about locations on campus. Read about the new map.

GradesFirst Email and Website

GradesFirst is an online tool used for grade reporting and academic progress at Illinois State University. Some faculty and instructors at Illinois State will receive emails from University College asking them to participate. For more information, refer to the Overview of GradesFirst.

Conficker Virus

The Conficker virus has recently received a great deal of attention in the media. On April 1, 2009, Conficker is scheduled to receive new instructions from the individuals who wrote and control it. Read the Overview of Conficker for details on what you can do to protect your computer.

IE8 and Magic Service Desk Express

Internet Explorer 8 is not yet supported by Magic Service Desk Express. If you are using Magic Service Desk Express, you must use Internet Explorer 6 or Internet Explorer 7 until BMC (the vendor) provides support for IE8. More information.

Internet Explorer 8 now available

Microsoft released Internet Explorer 8 on March 19, 2009. This new version of Internet Explorer replaces your IE6 or IE7 on your computer. Available for Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003, IE8 is touted by Microsoft as being faster, easier, and safer than previous versions of Internet Explorer.
