How do I activate my ULID account?

Follow these instructions to activate your ULID account, which allows you to access email, iCampus, Datastore, and Active Directory.

Follow the directions below to activate your ULID account.
Please Note: Incoming freshman students activate their ULID accounts during Preview.

Go to http://www.ilstu.edu/ulid.
Click on ULID Activation.
Enter your University Identification Number (UID) and your birth date. Your UID Number can be found printed on the front of your Redbird Card.
Click Next.
Read the Appropriate Use Policy. To proceed, select Yes, I agree to the terms of the Appropriate Use Policy. If you do not agree to the policy, you may not continue.
Click Next.
Read the password requirements. Then type your desired password twice, once in each password field.
If you would like to opt out from receiving campus surveys, uncheck the box labeled Yes, I am willing to be contacted electronically for officially approved campus research projects.
Choose and answer a Self-Reset Question. The Self-Reset Question can be used to reset your password if you forget it at a later time.
When you're done, click Next to activate your ULID account.

If you have problems activating your ULID account:

Make sure your birth date is typed correctly.
Make sure your University ID Number (UID) is typed correctly.
Contact the Student Services & Referral Center (SSRC) at 309-438-2188 to verify your birth date, UID Number, and your status at the University.
