Ethernet jacks are available in designated iSpot locations on campus and can be used by students, faculty, staff, and retirees of Illinois State University.
Ethernet jacks can be found in public spaces on campus designated with the iSpot logo. Using these public ports, you may access the campus network and the Internet. Ethernet jacks are available in all of the campus dining centers, the Bone Student Center, and Milner Library.
To use iSpot Ethernet jacks, you must have a valid ULID and password. And you must provide your own Ethernet cable.
You may purchase an Ethernet cable from the TechZone and most major computer/electronics stores. If you are a student who subscribes to ResNet, you can use the same Ethernet cable you use in your residence hall room.
The public Ethernet ports in Milner Library and the Bone Student Center use a different form of authentication than the rest of the public Ethernet ports on campus. For more information, refer to:

Network registration for iSpot Ethernet jacks is required once each semester.
