Installing the uPrint Pharos software for Mac OS X 10.3

To use uPrint Mobile Printing, you must install the uPrint Pharos software.

To install the uPrint Pharos software on Mac OS X 10.3, do the following:

  1. Download the uPrint Pharos software.
  2. If the installer does not automatically open, double-click the file to begin.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. Read the end user agreement and click Continue. Then click Agree.
  5. Select a destination volume and click Continue.
  6. Click Install.
  7. You will be prompted to enter your administrator password. Enter the password for your computer (this is your Mac password, not your ULID password) and click OK.
  8. When the installation is done, click Close.

The uPrint Pharos software adds a new default printer named "uPrint_Mobile_Printing" to your computer. When you print to this printer, you can pick up and pay for your print jobs at any of the uPrint Stations located throughout campus.
