Using uPrint Mobile Printing on Mac OS X 10.3 (or higher)

Using uPrint Mobile Printing, you can print from from anywhere on campus, then pick up and pay for your print job at one of the conveniently located uPrint Stations.

Before You Begin...

To use uPrint mobile printing, you must have the uPrint Pharos software installed.

The uPrint Pharos client software is free; you are required to pay for each print.

Using uPrint Mobile Printing

You can use uPrint mobile printing any time you have a campus network connection. Computers typically connect to the network from campus offices, residence halls, wireless, iSpot ethernet jacks, or in other public or administrative spaces.

Follow the directions below to print using uPrint mobile printing.

  1. Open the document, web page, or file you want to print. 
  2. Click File > Print
  3. From the drop-down list of printers, select uPrint_Mobile_Printing.
  4. Click Print
  5. The Pharos Popup window will appear.
  6. Enter your ULID.
  7. Type a name for your print job. This name will help you identify the print job when you pay for it. (Examples: "History Thesis", "Class List", "News Article").
  8. Click Print
  9. After a moment, a window will appear which lists uPrint station locations on campus.
  10. Click OK.
