Add or remove channels in your iCampus layout

iCampus contains features called channels that you can add and remove. Follow these instructions to customize your iCampus layout by adding and removing channels.

iCampus channels can be added to your Home, My Info, and Financial Info tabs. You may want to add a new channel if you are both a student and a faculty/staff member of the University.

At times, your layout may be automatically reset or you may manually reset your layout. In either case, you will lose any channels you previously added to your layout. To regain access to lost channels, you will need to add them back to your layout.

To add a channel to your iCampus layout: 

  1. Go to the iCampus website at http://www.icampus.ilstu.edu.
  2. Log in with your ULID and password. 
  3. Click the Layout link at the top left of the main page.
  4. Select the position where you would like your new channel to be placed by clicking one of the New Channel buttons.
  5. Select Applications from the drop-down menu and click Go.
  6. Select the desired channel from the next drop-down menu and click Add.
  7. Click the Home button at the top left and you should then see your new channel.

To remove a channel from your iCampus layout:

  1. Log into iCampus with your ULID and password.
  2. Click the x in the upper-right corner of the channel you would like to remove.
  3. This will remove the channel and adjust the other channels accordingly.
