Adding holidays to your calendar in Entourage 2004/2008

Add holidays to your calendar using Entourage 2004 or Entourage 2008.

To add holidays to your Exchange calendar in Entourage 2004 or Entourage 2008, do the following:

  1. Open Entourage.
  2. Click Calendar in the upper left corner of the window.
  3. Click File > Import. The Import Assistant will open.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • In Entourage 2004, select Import holidays and click the right arrow.
    • In Entourage 2008, select Holidays and click the right arrow.
  5. Select United States. You may also want to scroll through the list and select religious or regional holidays. Christmas and Easter are considered secular holidays (as well as religious), so they are placed on your calendar when you add holidays for the United States (without needing to select Christian Religious Holidays).
  6. Click the right arrow to continue.
  7. When it's done, Entourage displays the message, “The holidays you selected have been added to the calendar.” Click OK.
  8. Click Finish.

The holidays you added appear on your Exchange calendar as all day events. Like all calendar events, holidays are viewable in Outlook Web Access (OWA) once they have been added to your calendar.
