MS-PEAP login credentials are saved in Windows XP. To remove the saved credentials, follow these instructions.
When you connect to "isunet" using MS-PEAP in Windows XP, your computer saves your ULID and password. It does this so you don't have to log in each time you connect. This is known as "cached credentials."
To remove MS-PEAP cached credentials in Windows XP, you must make a change to the registry. After making this change, your computer will prompt you to log in the next time you connect to "isunet."
Important!
Editing the registry is a potentially dangerous task. Before making changes to the registry, make sure you know what you are doing. If you make a wrong change to your registry, you can prevent your computer or device from functioning. You should always make a backup before making changes to the registry. See 1115: Backing up and restoring registry keys in Windows.
To remove your MS-PEAP credentials from Windows XP, do the following:
regedit and press Enter.HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Eapol\UserEapInfo The next time your computer is in range of the "isunet" wireless network, you will be prompted to enter your ULID and password to connect to "isunet."
