Adding money to your Redbird Card or a Guest Copy Card

There are several ways you can add money to your Redbird Card. You can also purchase and add money to a Guest Copy Card.

Two Types of Cards

To use certain pay services at Illinois State University, including pay printing (uPrint), you must have money on either your Redbird Card or a Guest Copy Card.

Redbird Card

Redbird Cards are issued to all students, faculty, and staff at Illinois State University. If you don't have one already, you may obtain a Redbird Card by going to the Redbird Card Office on the second floor of the Bone Student Center.

Some locations, like restaurants in the Bone Student Center, accept the Redbird Card for payment. You can also use your Redbird Card for services like pay printing and copying.

Guest Copy Card

Anyone may purchase a Guest Copy Card. You can only use a Guest Copy Card for pay printing and copying.

Adding Money to Your Card

There are several ways to add money to your Redbird Card or Guest Copy Card.

  • iCampus: Use a credit card to add money to your Redbird Card.
  • In Person: Use cash or a check to add money to your card.
  • By Mail: Send a check in the mail to deposit money onto your card.
  • 3-D Machine: Use one of the University's 3-D machines to add money to your card.
