Changing your alumni email destination address
You can change the destination email address to which your alumni email is forwarded.
Before You Begin
To change the destination address to which your alumni email is forwarded, you must use your Alumni ID. Your Alumni ID is a string of 9 capital letters above your name on your alumni magazine label (or the label on most Alumni Association mailings). You used your Alumni ID when you originally set up your alumni email address. See (Figure 1) for an example.
If you are unable to determine your Alumni ID, contact the Alumni Association at 1-800-366-4478 or alumni@illinoisstate.edu.
Change Your Destination Email Address
To change your alumni email's destination address, do the following:
- Go to https://email.alumni.ilstu.edu.
- Enter your 9-character Alumni ID in the box labeled Alumni ID:. Enter your Alumni ID in all capital letters.
- Enter the pictured word in the box labeled Word in box:. If you can't read the pictured word, click the link labeled click here to get another word.
- Click the Proceed button.
- Change the email address in the box labeled Destination E-mail Address.
- Click the Change button.
Email sent to your alumni email address will now be forwarded to your new destination email address.
