Connecting to "isunet" on iPhone or iPod touch

Use iPhone or iPod touch to access "isunet," a secure wireless network that is accessible throughout campus.

Before You Begin

For best results, please update your iPhone or iPod Touch to the latest version. For more information, refer to Apple's support article, Updating and restoring iPhone and iPod touch software.

These instructions require you to be within range of "isunet." See 1092: Wireless access point locations on campus.

Manually Configure "isunet" on iPhone or iPod touch

Allow iPhone or iPod touch to power off by itself. After iPhone or iPod touch is powered off, wait 20-30 seconds and then turn it back on by pressing the power button.
  2. Press Settings > Wi-Fi.
  3. If it is not already on, turn on Wi-Fi.
  4. Under Choose a network..., press Other....
  5. Type isunet in the box labeled Name.
  6. Press Security, and then press WPA2 Enterprise.
  7. Press Other Network to return to the previous screen.
  8. Enter your ULID and password.
  9. Press Join.
  10. If you are asked to accept a certificate, press Accept.
