Most computers on campus connect to the network using DHCP, which dynamically provides network addresses. Technical support staff and system administrators that need to statically define network addresses must manually specify DNS and WINS, in addition to the computer's IP address, gateway, etc.
Use the following DNS and WINS addresses when you statically define network addresses for a computer or device on the campus network. These are the same DNS and WINS addresses served up through DHCP.
