Adding the "Faculty and Staff Information" channel in iCampus

If you are a new faculty or staff member, reset your iCampus layout to get the "Faculty and Staff Information" channel.

Before You Begin

If you are a new faculty or staff member, you may not see the Faculty and Staff Information channel in iCampus. This is especially true if you were previously a student or a grad student at Illinois State, but have now been hired as a faculty or staff member.

To resolve this problem, you must revert to your default layout in iCampus.

Important!
When you use the Revert to Default Layout option, you will lose your iCampus address book, filters, signature, etc. Any channels you added to iCampus will disappear from your layout and you will need to add them again. To do so, refer to 1208: Add or remove channels in your iCampus layout.

Revert to Default Layout

To perform these instructions, your ULID account must indicate that you are an employee (i.e. a faculty or staff member). If you are a student or grad student, reverting to your default layout in iCampus will not give you access to the Faculty and Staff Information channel in iCampus.

To get the Faculty and Staff Information channel in iCampus, reset your iCampus layout, as follows:

  1. Go to the iCampus website at http://www.icampus.ilstu.edu.
  2. Log in with your ULID and password.
  3. Click the Layout link at the top left of the main page.
  4. Click the Revert to Default Layout link.
  5. You will receive a message that says you will be logged out of iCampus. Click OK.
  6. Log back in to iCampus.
  7. Click the My Info tab. You now have access to the Faculty and Staff Information channel.

If you previously had the Student Information channel on your My Info tab, it is now gone. You can add it back to your layout if you need it. Refer to 1208: Add or remove channels in your iCampus layout.
