Overview of personal blogs

Your personal blog can be used to share opinions, photos, videos, and more.

All members of Illinois State University have access to a personal blog.

What is a blog?

A blog is a special kind of website. Originally intended for keeping an online journal (or "web log"), you can use your blog as a place to host content, like class materials, syllabi, YouTube videos, and more.

The campus blog server runs a system called WordPress, which is popular for hosting blogs. If you are an active blogger, you may already be familiar with WordPress.

Your Personal Blog

Activate your personal blog by logging in to it. Activating your personal blog needs to be done only once. Everyone who has a ULID and password can activate a personal blog.
