October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month. This event is sponsored by the National Cyber Security Alliance, a collaboration of public and private institutions. NCSA provides tools and resources to empower home users, schools, colleges, and universities to stay safe online.
To promote cyber security awareness at Illinois State, we are bringing together topics that help you stay safe online. These topics include social networking like MySpace & Facebook (week 1), phishing scams and identity theft (week 2), viruses and spyware (week 3), and downloading and copyrights (week 4).
Security is everyone's responsibility. Get secure. Stay secure.
